about the game... (postmortem post)

I honestly don't feel like talking about this. I got stuck, with almost no ideas in the first two days, losing that much time. had a game in the middle of making, left it for a different one, procrastinated for some time, and combining all that with my art "skills" (even though most of the game is made with primitives) and the fact that the game has barely any content inside (only a player, some enemies, a not really good progression system, and 5 powerups), with the music being made in the last 50 minutes of the jam (hence why I decided to call it Rush Hour), I don't feel like entering to any weekend-long game jams for a long time. they just need too much free time available, and I almost lack any of that nowadays, with school (which I don't even like) and other life-related things in the way, and considering I'm near uni, from now on you'll probably only see me making games if either I make them as projects I can update at any moment I like or if I make them for long game jams. if you'd like to have the music uploaded in somewhere like my Soundcloud page or Youtube, or the source code of the game in Github, I can make some time for that. but apart from that, I'd rather not see this game in a loooooong while.

tl;dr I will not enter any weekend-long game jams until I know I truly have time for them, and I don't know if that will even happen.
